TechStreamTV 5.3.1 Release

TechStreamTV 5.3.1 is now available.

This release introduces a redesigned TechStreamTV Server experience and improves live library management, artwork handling, metadata workflows, library checking, and overall reliability.

The main Server interface has been reorganized around the controls and information used most often, making it easier to start and manage the Server, access the Media Library, open the Web UI, review connection information, and manage settings.

Quick Playlists provide a lightweight way to temporarily serve a media folder or M3U playlist without permanently adding it to the persistent Media Library. Temporary playlists remain available for the current TechStreamTV session.

The persistent Media Library can also be managed while the Server is running. Routine changes such as playlist updates, media additions, metadata edits, and artwork changes can be reflected without requiring a full Server restart.

Artwork handling has been improved for both local libraries and imported playlists, including better source-adjacent storage, managed fallback storage, relative M3U artwork paths, and cleaner poster replacement.

TMDB remains optional. TechStreamTV continues to support local library management, grouping, playback, and LAN streaming without requiring an internet connection.

TechStreamTV 5.3.1 continues to include Web UI 1.3.0.

TechStreamTV Server 5.3.1 is available now for Windows 11 (64-bit).
