TechStreamTV 5.3.0 Release

TechStreamTV 5.3.0 is now available.

This release introduces the new TechStreamTV Library Manager and significantly improves how local media is added, organized, grouped, edited, and exported.

The new Library Manager provides a larger, more focused workspace for managing Movies, TV Shows, playlists, metadata, artwork, grouping, and TMDB-assisted matching.

Highlights include:

- New Library Manager

- Improved playlist management

- Movie, TV Show, and Unsorted media-type selection

- Automatic TV detection using S##E## filenames

- TV series metadata stored at playlist level

- Automatic season grouping

- Generic Group and Group Order editing

- Improved multi-selection metadata editing

- Optional media review before adding

- Improved TMDB-assisted matching

- Richer M3U export

- Improved Library navigation and artwork layout

TV media can now be handled using a more structured series workflow. Canonical S##E## filenames can be detected automatically, grouped into seasons, and matched as TV content without requiring aggressive filename guessing.

TMDB remains optional. TechStreamTV can still be used for local library management, grouping, playback, and LAN streaming without an internet connection.

Manual M3U exports now retain more of the metadata available through TechStreamTV, helping exported playlists remain consistent with the media library.

TechStreamTV 5.3.0 continues to include Web UI 1.3.0.

TechStreamTV Server 5.3.0 is available now for Windows 11 (64-bit).
